Strong Synergy among Northern Elites; Panacea to Developmental Gap – Kamal-Deen
Kamal-Deen Abdulai, the national Nasara Coordinator of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has stated that a strong synergy among Northern elites is what the Northern part of Ghana needs to solve her many problems.
According the NPP stalwart, when the Northern elites come together and present a unified front to fight for the course of the 3 Northern Regions, that is when the north will develop.
Kamal-Deen Abdulai who is seeking to become the National Youth Organiser of the ruling party was speaking with some youth groups at Tamale and Bolgantanga during a visit to the two regions to meet with the party’s regional executives prior to the party’s polling station elections slated to commence on 17thJanuary, 2018.
Reminiscing the proverbial “unity is strenghth”, Kamal-Deen stated that if the Northern elite could speak with one voice, no government could ever neglect the North. “Imagine, myself and all the other Northern big wigs in this government alone come together and say for example the Police Service is recruiting 1000 people, we go to the IGP and tell him, we need 300 for the north, then we say, this person present 10 people, that person present another 10 people, which IGP can reject that. But the situation where everybody is presenting separate people and one person is alone presenting so many people, it gives room for rejection.”
He stated that, a unified northern elite can make bold demand on both private and public institutions and they will have no option than to respond.
He therefore used the opportunity to call on all Northern elite in both public and private sector to come together to fight this cause adding that he is going to make that an agenda to bring all of them together to help foster peace for the North.
