NDC'S INEPTITUDE STALLED GHANA'S GROWTH - KAMAL-DEEN

Kamal-Deen Abdulai, the national Nasara Coordinator of the ruling New Patriotic Party has challenged the credibility of the opposition National Democratic Congress on speaking to the country's economic issues saying their 'ineptitude is what stalled the country's growth."

Speaking on 3FM's morning show, Kamal-Deen who is also seeking to become the party's next National Youth Organiser said, under week economic management policies of the NDC's government, the country's economic growth virtually came to a halt adding that today the country is growing at 7.9% due to the prudent economic policies and fiscal discipline implemented by the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo government.

He added that 'today all statutory payment that were in arrears are been cleared by the government and congratulated the government for implementing policies that directly affect the lives of the ordinary Ghanaian.

''The NPP inherited an economy that was ailing and has make sure that today, things are on the right tract. Statutory payment are been paid. The citizenry are been cushioned by prudent economic policies, the government has been able to make sure that macro-economic stability is clear and strong. As we speak today, government reserves are well monitored and well managed.'' He said.

He added that 'as a results of the NDC's ineptitude, the European Union banned exportation of vegetables from Ghana to  the EU market resulting in the country losing $18million annually' and added that indications are clear that sooner than later under the prudent management of the economy by the government, EU has given indication that the ban will soon be lifted.
